    Accounting Associate

    As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

    • A career within Private Company services, will provide the opportunity to help private companies with a range of business advisory needs such as general accounting and tax compliance to help improve their operational efficiency and to free up time that can be spent focusing on business strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity and transition.
    • Our team helps our clients design and implement personal and customised service plans that are unique to privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. You’ll be assisting the team focus on key issues like wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture and exit strategies.

    Job Description

    • Perform work on key areas as part of a team. Bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, management statements, client budgets and general accounting functions for various entities including individuals/sole proprietors, trusts and companies.
    • Specifically assist with data capturing (accounting), payroll services, tax compliance, secretarial services and other related administrative tasks.

    Competencies/ Skills:

    • Good analytical and communication skills
    • Proficient in English and Afrikaans
    • Computer literate - knowledge of Ms Word and Excel
    • Must be able to work under pressure
    • Ability to work independently or as part of team
    • Sound administration skills
    • Must be able to work overtime when necessary
    • Self motivated and pay attention to detail
    • Must have valid driver’s license

    Qualifications:

    • Accredited degree will be advantages, you need to be busy studying for an accredited degree.
