In this role you will be responsible for effectively and accurately processing all documents, resolving all debts and queries, making accurate payments, maintaining accurate records, and having full knowledge of all policies and regulations to effectively support the various EMEA Mimecast entities. Accuracy is critical, as is the ability to gauge discrepancies and evaluate opportunities for lowering costs. Weekly report monitoring, payment oversight, and organising invoices enable the Analyst to help Mimecast avoid hidden costs, interest charges, and late fees – while providing an accurate overview of actual cash flow.

You'll need:

• A degree is not mandatory, however, an understanding of basic bookkeeping, high attention to detail, mathematical and accounting skills are required.
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and analytical skills along with strong communication skills
• Proactive with problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Ability to perform accurate, fast and reliable data entry of a high volume of invoices and expenses into the accounting system
• An in-depth understanding, and ability to resolve and bill purchase orders
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated and proactive - requiring minimum daily supervisory input
• Efficient at time management and multi-tasking
• Manage, record, and resolve queries in a timely manner
• Multi-Region knowledge of VAT Rules and applicable rates for invoices and expenses
• Methodical, logical, industrious, diligent and works to a high level of integrity
• Must protect the confidentiality of staff and our vendors
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
