In this dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in shaping how performance is measured and communicated both internally and externally. You’ll play a critical part in the IFRS17 journey, helping interpret financial impacts, support planning efforts, and advise on key metrics in a post-IFRS17 landscape. Your expertise will also help elevate investor confidence through thoughtful analysis and disclosure enhancements.
Key Highlights of the Role:
Drive and support IFRS17 implementation across reporting and performance functions
Collaborate on financial forecasts and deliver impactful performance insights
Guide stakeholders on IFRS17 technical matters and scenario analyses
Contribute to audit readiness and enhance internal methodologies
Partner with planning and investor teams to refine performance narratives
Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring competitor trends and disclosures
What We’re Looking For:
You must be a qualified actuary (FASSA or equivalent), with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
A minimum of 3 years in financial reporting within life insurance (IFRS, EV, SAM)
Hands-on exposure to IFRS17 work is a strong advantage
Background in audit or consulting engagements preferred
Proven project leadership and adaptability in fast-moving environments
