National Diploma in Public Admin, Administration or equivalent NQF-6 qualification. Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint). A valid driver’s licence. Extensive knowledge of Acrobat professional software will be an added advantage. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills. Attention to detail.
Skills and competencies associated with vocation: analytical thinking, empowerment, adaptability, leadership skills, presentation skills, conflict & stress management, negotiation skills. Must be available to work extended hours and attend committee meetings after hours.
3 (Three) years relevant experience in committees preferably within a local government environment.
DUTIES
Drafting of reports. Compiling of minutes and agendas for Committee meetings.
Distribution of Committee Resolutions to relevant stakeholders. Responsible for the arrangement of the Committee Meetings.
Attending Committee Meetings and taking of minutes. Liaising with all relevant stakeholders to promote good working relationships. General administrative duties.
Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
