Administration Officer (Air Quality) at eThekwini Municipality

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Using air QUIS and other software to generate reports and graphics for communicating to management and stakeholders.
• Presents data in a predefined format for comparative analysis, legal compliance and assessment.
• Assists data quality control officer on technical quality control of data. 
• Setting up systems to compile current and historical data sets. 
• Prepare reports for different targets groups. 
• Assists in the establishment of performance benchmarks and monitoring of results against these benchmarks. Facilitates data storage in correct databases for easy access to and retrieval of data from databases.
• Maintain and update the information website.

Essential Requirements:

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Environmental Science or Environmental Management. 
• Registered as a Candidate Natural Scientist with SACNASP. 
• Valid motor vehicle driving license 
• 2 Years relevant experience. 
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements:

• 3 Years relevant experience.
