National Diploma NQF 6/7 Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Internal Audit with 1-2 years relevant experience (completion of Internship programme in Risk Management/Internal Audit will serve as an added advantage or Grade 12 with 10 years relevant experience in Risk Management or Internal Audit.
Knowledge and understanding of the Public Sector Risk Management Framework, COSO Standards, ISO 31000, Treasury Regulations and King IV.
Computer literacy is essential, report writing and presentation skills, communication (verbal and non-verbal) skills.
Duties :
Facilitate the risk management assessment process. Compile risk register and mitigation plans. Follow up on implementation of mitigating action plans that were put in place to reduce the risk to acceptable level.
Provide risk management report to management and risk management committee on quarterly basis. Follow up on a risk to an acceptable level.
Ensure dissemination of risk management strategy and associated plans to employees. Ensure regular communications on outstanding items on the risk register.
Develop, review, and monitor the implementation of risk management policies, strategies and implementation plans. Provide training, workshops, and awareness of risk management activities.
