Administrative Assistant- Helpdesk: Financial Aid, Contract Ending 31 December 2025 (Internal Only) - (7447) at Cape Peninsula University of Technology

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Matric/Senior Certificate
• Two (2) years'  experience in the administration of Financial Aid
• Knowledge of Financial Aid Policies and Procedures
• Knowledge of ITS
• Required to work overtime during peak times or as and when required

Recommendation:

• A relevant National Diploma (3-year qualification) in a Business related field

Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities

• Assisting students with completing learner agreements, application forms, appeals forms.
• Create a master-list and capture on the system and keep record of all documents received and accurately file for audit purpose.
• Confirming validity and integrity of documents
• Extracting data, compiling, and processing claims
• Participate in orientation and open day sessions.
• Assist with explaining the student fee account.
• Provide support to the FAO's and any other request from Senior FAO and the Manager
• General administrative duties which include maintaining the filing system and tasks related to the operations of the office.
• Liaise with students, parent and other stakeholders
• Performing ad hoc duties assigned by the line manager
