    Administrative Assistant

    Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files. Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • To provide and deliver an effective and comprehensive administrative support service to the Gauteng North Regional Office.
    • The ideal individual must have strong administrative skills and strong planning and organisational skills, be detail orientated, structured, have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a high performance culture environment.

    Provide Administrative Support In Terms Of The Following

    • The organising and preparation of meetings; functions; presentations; conferences; workshops; satellite broadcasts; video conferences etc.
    • Receive visitors for meetings in a courteous and professional manner
    • E2 Financial payments & order supplies
    • Mail and information management. Receive and address various email/telephone queries and communications directed to the office. Take messages, redirect actions and resolve queries where possible.
    • Undertake filing and record keeping of all correspondence, minutes and information as required.
    • Consolidate and provide relevant reports
    • Support team members with all relevant secretarial duties
    • Assist with ad hoc requests

    Qualification And Experience

    • Grade 12 with 1 to 2 years related experience.

    Knowledge And Skills

    • Processing transactions and conduct simple calculations
    • Data collection and analysis
    • Record keeping, filing and maintenance of databases
    • Maintain work standards and quality verification
