Administrative Clerk: Asset Management at Gauteng: Department of Environment

Requirements :

• Grade 12 Certificate. No experience required.

Duties :

• Render asset management clerical support. Compile and maintain records (e.g. asset records / databases). Conduct annual physical asset verification and distribute asset inventory lists to officials to sign, keep proper records of all signed asset inventory lists.
• Identify redundant, obsolete and / or unserviceable assets and compile a list for disposal purposes.
• Barcode newly acquired assets in preparation for capturing into the asset register. Assist in the updating of the asset register. Render support to the Admin Officer with all asset management related activities.
