Administrative Officer at Stellenbosch University

Duties/Pligte        

• Accurate management and control of the creditors' ledger.
• Maintaining the debtor's ledger.
• Assisting with maintenance issues.
• Liaising with the SU vehicle fleet.
• Providing client services.
• Processing invoices and payments, accurately and timeously.
• Handling financial queries and reconciliations.
• Maintaining proper financial records and documentation.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes        

• Grade 12 with accounting as a subject, plus relevant experience.
• At least three years' relevant experience in a financial or administrative role within a financial services environment, preferably at an academic institution.
• Strong client-service orientation (internal and external stakeholders).
• Strong numerical and financial processing skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Good computer skills, especially in Excel.
• Good administrative skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Meticulousness and attention to detail.
