    Administrator -Durban

    Introduction    
    The Administrator is responsible for support to the COVID Test and Treat (COTeT) clinical trial at AHRI CTU in our Durban site.

    Specification    
    The Administrator will provide administration support and assist with the coordination and management of all the clinical trial operational activities. The role may require incumbent to work outside of normal hours, Public Holidays & Weekend as and when required by the study.

    Requirements    

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Certificate or Diploma in Office or Business Administration or equivalent
    • Computer literacy and certification (MS Office)
    • Must possess a valid South African Code B Driver’s License
    • Fluency in isiZulu and English
    • Resident and member of a homestead within the PIPSA

    Minimum Experience

    • A minimum of 2 years’ of working in a clinical research environment
    • Prover 1 year experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Administrative assistance

    Skills Required

    • Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
    • Accuracy and precision;
    • High computer literacy
    • Report writing
    • Must be able to work under pressure;

    Knowledge and abilities

    • Understanding of project operations including project planning and ethical conduct of research
    • Good data entry, typing skills, plan meetings and take detailed minutes
    • Knowledge of the Mpukunyoni area and the local leadership structure configuration
    • Ability to work independently and show initiative

    Duration: 10 Months

    Closing Date: 3rd, April 2022
