Africa Digital Manager at Unilever

Main Responsibilities:

The Africa SC Digital Manager will lead the Digital Transformation program which the Supply Chain has already embarked on. The purpose of the role is to develop, agree, and execute the strategic plan to ensure Digital Transformation is landed in the Africa Supply Chain. This includes a 3-5 year forward horizon on Digital implementation.

Job Summary:

• Embed Real time Visibility and Analytics across the Supply Chain to enable faster and more dynamic decision making through standardising metrics and data visualisation.

• Implementation of Digital Manufacturing solutions towards a future fit manufacturing network

• Enable current and fuure Digital Proficiencies through capabilities development

• Explore and Implement new E-Comm opportunities

• Foundry setup and implementation

• Planning and executing of future Digital Programs

Professional Skills:

• Degree minimum qualification with relevant Digital experience across the business or industry

• Experience in FMCG supply chain

• Demonstrated commercial acumen

• Cross functional business process knowledge

Experience Required:

• More than 3 years’ experience in SC or finance

• Experience as a business analyst or business consulting advantage

• Demonstrated track record of working on complex problem solving, tight deadlines with quick turnaround times.
