    Africa (English speaking countries) Personal Systems Initiative Marketing Manager

    6M $ Investment Via 2 Programs

    The successful candidate will have end-to -end responsibility of Africa Initiative strategic planning and execution across multiple channels delivering on the goal to capture the Africa Education opportunity and achieve 1% PC penetration in Africa through 3.

    • Africa FTB: HP PCs are essential for better education
    • Africa Education Programs: HP supports making technology and education accessible for all and providing access to unique& tailored education platforms for learners, educators, and young entrepreneurs.

    Leading in-depth development of insights led marketing strategies in collaboration with Centers of Excellence for a best-in-class customer experience and plans of the Africa initiative Priority in close collaboration with business leadership, category and go to market teams truly bringing to life the 4Ps of marketing (70% time)

    • Oversee research/insights development, KPI setting to achieve marketing goal & marketing calendar planning
    • Content strategy & execution: Delivering a communication framework from brand awareness to demand gen programs working collaboratively with creative and production agencies to develop content that will engage and convert

    Engagement strategy:

    Africa First Time Buyer :

    • Enhancing the essentiality through meaningful associations with education/entrepreneurship providers/activists to show value beyond the HW
    • Growing the Africa FTB initiative as a platform to enable digital literacy and support the youth to learn, engage, share & create to encourage PC adoption
    • Lead closing the affordability gap through collaboration with category/sales & supported by partnership with financial institution/providers to establish a Consumer DaaS model available for students/scholars

    Africa Education Programs:

    • Leverage key Pan African events to engage key decision makers (donor conferences, Africa Ed Tech summit etc.)
    • Strategic partnership with Africa’s Teacher summit (50.000+ teachers across Africa)
    • Traditional/digital media – own the education narrative with thought leadership.
    • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer conversion touch to optimize user funnels
    • Be the brand champion to engage around the initiative and ensure brand integrity and consistent brand messages across the company to amplify the brand strategy across all channels

    Digital and Traditional media execution 30% time:

    • in-depth understanding of search, digital platforms, CRM, & traditional media to develop that delivers the marketing objective in English speaking African countries
    • Measure performance of marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) to generate company’s performance KPI with an emphasis on Conversion
    • Monitoring and optimizing targeting, creatives, marketing messages, marketing spending & budget allocation across all marketing channels
    • Regularly report campaign performance metrics to key stakeholders
    • Coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables.
