Job Description
The Global UN Account would like to request for a 5FTE resource to work with the core Global Account team based in NL Risk Advisory to support the following ongoing key account tasks. Tasks the Africa Talent Initiative colleagues would cover could include:
Harmonized Cash Transfer (HACT) coordination:
- Risk Advisory B.V hosts the Global HACT Long Term Agreement with UNICEF, UNDP, UN Women, FAO and UNFPA for the provision of Macro-Assessments, Micro-Assessments, Spot Checks, HACT Audits, Special Audits, Financial Management and Capacity Development and Advisory Services. The resource will:
- Liaise directly with the UN procurement officers,
- Send opportunities and global HACT LTA materials through to local teams,
- Build the quotations for the local team.
Global pursuit scanning:
The resource will:
- To conduct a daily scan on UN procurement sites and filter through emails from UN procurement for UN RFPs,
- Review the eligibility requirements and scope of work, including the agency, location and type of services required to determine the best possible pursuit team,
- Download and send all information to the pursuit team and Provide on-hand support to pursuit to connect with other firms, share client knowledge, find qualifications and expertise that exist across the Account as well as other administrative tasks.
- Proposal support: The resource will be involved in proposal development for pursuits led by Risk Advisory B.V. and to lead the design of proposal boiler plates for global teams to use.
- UN Qualifications: The resource will collect UN qualifications from our global teams who are delivering engagements for the UN and upload these on Deloitte’s KX Quals repository which the UN Account uses to evidence our deep and broad relationship with the UN.
- Scan daily news: Ensures the firm remains up to date about the latest developments across the United Nations system, ensuring our professionals are knowledgeable and can respond to developments at the client to prepare relevant and useful propositions.
- Other ad hoc internal Account tasks: Other key internal account support tasks that may arises.
The following skills are required for the role:
- Clear communicator and highly organized;
- Interest in being involved with the International Affairs and Development sector – preferable to have experience in the sector but not mandatory;
- Strong PowerPoint and writing skills;
- Intercultural sensitivity;
- Agile and adaptable to pivot and work on a variety of tasks.
