Our client is seeking a driven and customer-focused Aftermarket Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing aftermarket and rental business, developing new accounts, managing existing customer relationships and delivering tailored solutions based on customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business through cold calling, lead generation and account development.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products, services and solutions.
Achieve sales, rental, invoicing and gross profit targets within the assigned territory.
Prepare quotations, sales contracts, reports and other required documentation.
Resolve customer queries and disputes while ensuring excellent service delivery.
Conduct customer/site visits and identify opportunities to grow market share.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and service delivery.
Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric.
Proven experience in a sales or aftermarket sales role.
Experience within the materials handling, industrial equipment or related technical industry is advantageous.
Strong technical understanding and ability to understand customer requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong sales, business development and cold-calling ability.
Good administration, planning and time-management skills.
Computer literacy and ability to prepare and analyse reports.
Valid Code 8 / EB driver's licence.
Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven with a strong customer-service focus.
