Analyst Developer: Java and Node.JS - Pipeline at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• The Analyst Developer in the Technology Platform Engineering team is responsible for analysis and development of different technology platforms that solves integration and compliance of all non-functional components required within the Capitec IT ecosystem to IT industry standards.
• The Platform developer delivers the building blocks required to minimise non-functional delivery components from functional delivery teams by hiding the infrastructure detail and lifecycle from the application in total in accordance with Capitec standard.

Experience

• 5 years proven experience in software development using Java
• Essential experience in the following development languages is required:
  • JavaScript
  • Node.js
  • Open API
  • Rest Services
  • Swagger
  • Git
  • SQL
  • Application architecture & design
  • Application and data integration
  • Data access frameworks

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• A relevant degree in Information Technology
