Purpose Statement
To support the execution of the Privacy Management framework, policies and standards.
Responsible for the operational execution of the Privacy Management function, and to facilitate and enhance the adoption thereof across the organisation.
Experience
Minimum:
The following years of experience will be accepted
Level 1: 1 – 2 years’ experience as an Analyst, in a data management, information risk, compliance or security environment
Level 2: 2 – 3 years’ experience as an Analyst, in a data management, information risk, compliance or security environment
Level 3: 3 – 5 years’ experience as an Analyst, in a data management, information risk, compliance or security environment
Ideal:
Experience in a Banking or Financial Services environment
Qualifications (Minimum)
A relevant degree in Law or Information Management
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Bachelor's Degree in Law or Information Management
Knowledge
Minimum:
The data product life cycle
Agile principles and methodology
Understanding of end-to-end Data Services environments, including Data Governance & Management, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Data Science
Data Governance and Management practices
General understanding of information technology, security, marketing and communication practices, IP and digital transformation
Data Protection Compliance and regulatory practices
Business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
Corporate governance principles
DAMA-DMBOK principles
Familiar with regulatory requirements such as POPIA, PAIA, GDPR, cross-border data transfer mechanisms, CPA, NCA, FICA, ECTA
Ideal:
Understanding of end-to-end D&A environments, including Data Governance & Management, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence.
Knowledge of data and analytics within the banking or finance industry
Industry leading Data Governance and Management practices
Information systems and information system architecture
Knowledge of Cloud and on-premises data solutions (AWS preferred)
ISF Framework (Data Security and Access Management Knowledge of data and analytics within the banking or finance industry.
