    Application Analyst

    Position Purpose:

    • The Application Analyst provides administrative and technical support for all interactive technologies [e.g., myCHEP, BlueCode, and other future technologies].  Initiates, monitors, and maintains relationships with new and existing CHEP customers. Provides second level support for internal and external users and partners with other teams to offer support where needed.  Works with global teams to create or update existing User Guides, online demonstrations, and support documentation prior to release of new or enhanced functionality. Creates SQL statements to generate customized reports for the business

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Provide second-level support for systems and services that meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA) while identifying and implementing improvements
    • Provide support to other business initiatives and projects as required from the Digital Business group.
    • Knowledgeable with PL/SQL Developer to execute scripts, identify table structures, primary keys, synonyms, database links, etc.
    • Rely on business knowledge and technology to propose value-added technology solutions for the business challenges at CHEP (reduce cost, improve service, and increase innovations)
    • Conduct meetings with internal and external customers to trouble-shoot and resolve issues
    • Work with within a global team (North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Middle-East Africa and Latin America) to support and share best practices

    Preferred Education

    • Associates Degree (or equivalent work experience)

    Preferred Level of Work Experience

     

    • 3-5 years experience providing customer support
    • 3-5 years IT experience
    • Experience in creating training documentation and delivering training to internal and external customers, by phone, in a classroom setting, and through online meetings.
    • Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence)
    • Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms, SharePoint, Yammer, and OneDrive)
