Application For uMgungundlovu District Municipality’s Assistance With Registration Fees For Tertiary Studies Rehgistration 2026 at uMgungundlovu District Municipality

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Applicants must reside within uMgungundlovu District Municipality area of jurisdiction
• Applicants must be South African Citizens.
• Applicants must have received at least 30 APS (Admission Score Points)
• Registrations should be towards undergraduate qualification with any public TVET College or
• University within the Republic of South Africa
• All SASSA grant recipients qualify to apply for the funding
• The combined household income must not exceed R350 000.00 per annum
• Proof of residence

HOW TO APPLY

• Complete the prescribe uMgungundlovu District Municipality’s application form in full and attach the following supporting documents with your application:
• Certified copy of South African ID (recently certified copy)
• Certified copy of matric results
• Proof of acceptance from a recognised tertiary institution for first year students starting in 2026.
• Certified copies of both parent(s) identity document(s) (recently certified copies)
• If the surnames of the applicants and the parent is different, the student should provide a recently certified copy of the unbridged birth certificate.
• Proof of residence
