- Are you passionate about technology and eager to start a career in instrumentation and control systems? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Instrument Technician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment. Standerton Oil Mills (Pty) Ltd is looking to recruit Local Lekwa Youth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified Instrument Technicians in the calibration, maintenance, and installation of instrumentation equipment.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and process control documentation.
- Participate in fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.
- Attend theoretical and practical training sessions.
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
- N6 / S4 in Instrumentation, or higher certificate in Instrumentation will be advantageous.
- Strong interest in instrumentation and control systems.

- Proactive, Self-starter & Self-motivated
- Team player & Willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
