Artisan Aide- Electrical at Safal Steel

Description

To assist in various maintenance tasks in accordance with company standards. To primarily assist the Shift Electrician to obtain the desired electrical outcomes.

• Safety & Housekeeping
• Comply with the requirements of Safety, Health and Environment Standards and Procedures.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment, free of any spillages or obstacles.
• Monitor and adhere to Safal Steel maintenance standards, working manuals, working instructions and procedures.
• Equipment operations & Maintenance
• Perform a variety of repair jobs that do not always require the attention of the Artisan
• Perform minor repairs task on plant equipment as instructed.
• Assist in maintenance activities according to instruction of the Electrician/ Senior Electrician.
• Stakeholder Management
• Continuously reporting observed defects and deviations from the standard maintenance parameters and requirements to the Shift Electrician/Senior Electrician.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with an Electrical Engineering qualification + Trade tested Electrician (Red Seal from approved training Centre)
• General work experience (years): Minimum 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in industrial/manufacturing/Heavy Engineering environment.
