Artisan Diesel Mechanic UG at Sibanye-Stillwater

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Grade 12& N3 , Artisan Diesel Mech Trade Certificate Section 13/26D,

The Appointee should:

• Certified Competent as Diesel Mechanic
• Grade 12 or Trade Specific N2 & Sect 13/26D
• At least 1 years’ experience in a related role.
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Clear security screening record.
• Valid driver’s license

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Knowledge on AARD5.5, SANDVIK, LHD,BOLTER and UV42, , Trackless expierence

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, Installations & Construction  Adhere to automotive maintenance and installation standards and specifications.  All automotive maintenance and installations to be inspected and checked for quality purposes.  Safe, correct and effective application of equipment and machinery utilised during duties.  Adherence to maintenance schedules.  Attending to mechanical and auto electrical breakdowns.  Escalation of unresolved breakdowns or unsuccessful maintenance and installations.  Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Administration  Completion of relevant documentation.  Adherence to document control standards and procedures.  Provisioning of data and information.  Safekeeping of documentation.  Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Stakeholder Relations  Maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally.  Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
• Financial Management Cost Savings:  Leading and driving cost saving and cash conservation initiatives.  Remaining competitive on the global cost curve for surface operations.
• Building a values-based organisational culture  Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
• ESG Compliance  Align to international responsible mining principles.  SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs).  SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS) initiative.
• SHE Compliance  Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment.  Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks.  Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.  Reporting of all incidents and / or near incidents.  Participation on SHEC related campaigns and initiatives.  Conduct induction for team members related to SHEC aspects prior to commencing work.  Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
