Qualifications and experience required:

• Qualified Electrician.
• One-year relevant experience.

Special condition attached to the position:

• A valid Code C1 driver’s licence.
• As part of the selection process, the recommended candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at the Municipality’s Occupational Health and Safety Division.

Job purpose:

• Supervising and attending to loss of supply on the low voltage network and to restore supply by means of repairs.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
