A Senior Manager leads and manages multiple strategic/large projects independently. The position holder will be working under the supervision of the Principal/Head of Practice, to set up, lead and complete complex projects in terms of size, sites and scope autonomously towards project goals and client satisfaction. The position holder will lead and manage multiple project teams (Accenture & client) towards achieving project targets and will be engaged in developing and selling business cases to the senior client management.
Responsibilities And Duties
Manage strategic/large projects independently and perform leadership duties within the project team
Lead and manage multiple project teams (Accenture & client) towards achieving project targets
Set up, lead and complete complex projects in terms of size, sites and scope
Supervise workstreams of multiple projects in terms of activities planned towards the different project goals
Develop and maintain excellent client relationships on senior level
Conduct analysis/audits of organizational structures, operational procedures, and operational performance (including use of IT and management systems) using interviews, observations, data, and statistical analysis research and techniques
Develop and evaluate levers to increase efficiency and productivity, and ensure successful and timely implementation
Presentation of progress results to the client and company management
Design and deliver client training sessions, coaching & workshops for key client persons on management level
Support of the Key Account Management with engagement & research strategy to position the services of Accenture
Drive development of one or more expertise areas continuously to improve existing knowledge and enhance current offerings
Conduct internal trainings and train other (new) employees to transfer knowledge and best practices
Qualification
Economic or technical degree or equivalent business experience (B Eng or higher)
Min. 8 years in Management level position or at least 8 years of consulting experience in total
Excellent knowledge of performance drivers in production and maintenance, preferably in an asset intensive industry (Mining, Utilities, Petrochem)
Proven track record in setting up, leading and completing complex projects in terms of size, sites and scope
Excellent project management skills and experience in leading and managing multiple project teams
Experience in developing and selling benefit cases to the senior client management or Key Account Management experience
Experience in mechanical maintenance, reliability and condition monitoring, predictive/preventative maintenance, and maintenance systems (CMMS)
Proven ability to quickly penetrate complex issues and to develop practical solutions
SAP maintenance activity experience is highly beneficial
Able to communicate at ease with all stakeholders
Hands-on mentality paired with professional and engaging presentation skills
Excellent fluency in speaking, reading and writing English
Excellent MS-Office skills; ERP or special system knowledge skills a plus
