    Assistant Brand Manager - Digital Performance (Hyundai Head Office)

    Job Description    

    • An opportunity to be a part of Hyundai South Africa’s close knit marketing team has arisen. In a fast, pacy environment, the placement of lead generating ads in various digital platforms is a critical component of our daily operations. If you are a talented, collaborative and competitive individual who thrives on the placement, management and measurement of programmatic, social and search campaigns across digital marketing platforms such as Google, Facebook, YouTube and Tik Tok, then we would like to chat with you.

    Specific Role Responsibilities    

    • Collaborate with the brand custodians in the team, as well as the digital agency partners in using all available creative materials to run digital ads, spanning the retail offerings on Hyundai’s models.
    • Assist in producing media plans and executing tactical strategies with the allocated expenditure and performance KPI’s.
    • Assist in producing daily and weekly performance reports for analysis and help make any required tactical corrections.
    • Assist in supporting the specific needs and requests of the dealer network
    • Through Google analytics and other relevant tools, help measure the performance of the website, campaigns and the attainment of goals.
    • Assist in the speedy implementation of price/promotional changes.
    • Understand and execute relevant customer segmentation and targeting across Hyundai’s wide model range.

    Qualifications and Experience    

    • A minimum of Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a digital media agency or a digital marketing environment.
    • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or business equivalent.
    • Reports into the Brand Manager - Digital.

    Skills and Personal Attributes    

    • A love for digital performance marketing, online customer acquisition and conversion.
    • A working knowledge of SEO implementation.
    • End to end management of paid digital campaigns.
    • Some working knowledge of website speed optimization and A/B testing
    • Strong interest in changing technological trends Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
    • A love for analytics and pattern spotting.
    • Agency management and negotiation skills.
    • A goal oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Assertiveness, persuasiveness and an ability to collaborate with team members.
