Assistant Buyer

Job Advert Summary

The purpose of the Assistant Buyer role is to support the buying team by managing data, analyzing market trends, sourcing deals, and maintaining supplier relationships, ultimately contributing to the success of purchasing operations.

Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Management or other relevant experience / qualification
- Minimum 2 years in data capturing
Duties and Responsibilities
- Data management and analysis
- Passion for market related trends (Food & Bev Industry)
- Campaign / project assistance in sourcing and developing deals.
- Knowledge of POS systems and invoice capturing software such as Magic box
- Microsoft office suit - Excel
- Handling and interpreting supplier invoices, proformas and quotations.
- Customer/supplier relations
