National Diploma in Finance, Accounting or similar qualification with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Credit Control, Accounts receivables and billing and financial services or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or similar qualification with minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Credit Control, Accounts receivables and billing and financial services.
Duties:
Assist in the management of both student and sundry receivables within the University. The key target of the position is to reduce the risk and increase collections on outstanding funds owed to the institution.
In addition, the assistant credit controller will aid in the establishment of policies that promote quality customer service and best practices while ensuring customers' payments are collected on time.
Sundry debtors’ management within the portfolio would include issuing and following up on Sundry invoices and payments.
Facilitate other sources of student funding undertakings (Loans, etc.) through university-approved financial services partners.
Work with the University approved debt collection agencies to reduce current and historical debt
Facilitate the administration and implementation of debit orders for monthly student payments
Preparation of monthly management reports and assist in the AFS Lead Schedule preparations
