Assistant Director: Epidemiology & Disease Surveillance at Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness

Experience:

• Appropriate experience analysing and reporting on large routine health services datasets

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree in health sciences, social sciences, public health or equivalent.

Duties

• Conduct population health surveillance analyses that supports the strategic priorities of the Western Cape Department of Health. Report on Public Health Surveillance. Strengthen surveillance and epidemiological investigations Support and evaluate public health interventions that could contribute to a reduction in the burden of disease. Capacity Development.
