Assistant Management Accountant (6 Month Contract) at Kelly

About the Position

We're seeking a Qualified Assistant Management Accountant, for a 6-month Fixed term Contract within the Governmental Maritime sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participating in Cross Functional Sourcing Team (Financial Evaluations on tenders)
• Collating of information and investigation of variances against the budget in preparation of the monthly management reports
• Collection of data for the preparation of the annual operating and capital budget and consolidation thereof.
• Co-ordination of minor works submission and collation of data for the preparation of viability models
• Collection of data and input to support the implementation of terminal costing model 
• Investigation of cost variances against targets and presentation of analysis to Management Accountant.
• Preparation of management accounting statistics/numbers and investigation of qualitative reasons supporting the monthly reports to be prepared by the Management Accountant.
• Collection of data and preparation/consolidation of budget schedules for review
• Analysis of cost drivers with a view to improving efficiencies and reducing costs
• Provision of information as and when required by the Management Accountant

Desired Experience & Qualification

• B Com Degree (or Diploma in Financial Accounting)
• 3-5 years in Financial environment including at least 1 year in Management Accounting environment
