Assistant Project Manager- Engineering Services at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• Implementing, coordinating and overseeing building projects, project management processes and efforts across the organisation for the upkeep of organisational facilities, to ensure it meets the needs the occupants and organisation. As well as project implementation and quality control roles in the building projects sub-section.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in project management

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Computer literacy (Ms Office)
• Code B drivers’ licence
• Written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of municipal environment
• Excellent contract administration knowledge
• Proficient in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
• Project scheduling skills and Ms Projects or similar

EXPERIENCE:

• 0-2 years relevant experience
