Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients and develop strategies to approach and secure new business.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our products/services.
Research and Identify Leads: Analyze target markets and identify potential clients that align with the company’s services
Outreach Strategies: Use cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking to initiate contact with prospects.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent sales opportunities.
Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and threats.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to management.
Coordination: Work with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer services.
Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Client information Accuracy: Ensuring all client records are accurate and uploaded into CRM.
Targets: Bring in revenue on a monthly basis of six times monthly Cost to Company.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification (minimum diploma or degree) in Food Technology, Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or Business Administration.
3 to 5 years' experience in a sales position with experience in the B2B market.
Previous experience selling food safety training (advantageous).
Experience working in a team environment with exposure to client liaison.
Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
Experience working under pressure and delivering on deadlines.
Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.
