Au Pair | Melrose | R10 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their Twin boys aged 8 years old and twin girls aged 10 years old
• Area: Melrose
• Ages: Twin boys aged 8 years old and twin girls aged 10 years old
• Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 14h00 – 17h00 or 15h00 – 18h00 (dependent on school schedules) + 4 hours babysitting one night per week + two Saturdays per month from 09h00 – 13h00
• School holiday hours:  similar to the above but to be confirmed prior to each holiday period
• Duties: Mom needs an extra helping hand to split the responsibility of all four children between the Au Pair and herself. Candidate will be required to collect from school, transport to and from extra murals / therapies, supervise and assist with homework as well as engage in educational education and stimulation, ensure school bags and sports bags are packed. The one 8 year old and the one 10 year old needs assistance and guidance in gaining confidence with their school work. There needs to be guidance with developing maths skills, literacy, pen holding, reading and making academics and homework fun. The family would like the candidate to engage with the children in Afrikaans to develop this language skill set
• Requirements: Afrikaans speaking
• Start date: ASAP start – permanent contract
• Salary: R10 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
