Automation QA at Flash Group

Job Role:

• We are looking for a talented individual to join the Quality Assurance team in Tech. This individual will be a dedicated QA to one team, responsible for ensuring high-quality software is delivered to our customers.

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification
• 5+ years’ experience in a testing or similar role
• Previous experience working within a FinTech/Retail, Payments or Banking environment is preferred
• API testing experience (must have)
• Experience using API testing tools like POSTMAN, JMETER, RAPID API, SoapUI, REST-assured, Katalon Studio, Apigee, etc. (must have).
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience using Linux
• Automation testing experience
• Have experience of working with enterprise scale application stacks
• Have had exposure to the full software development lifecycle

Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Test planning and design of test scenarios
• Test case preparation and maintenance
• Test case reviews
• Test case execution
• Logging and tracking of defects through to completion
• Test reporting throughout test environments
• Testing for production support
• Provide regular feedback to team member, developers and stakeholders
• Attend daily stand-ups and provide testing progress
• Ability to work some evenings for live deployments (2 - 3 nights per month)
