Automotive Paint Mixer / Colour Matcher: Johannesburg at FS Personnel Recruitment

Position Overview:

• Our client in the Automotive industry is seeking an experienced Paint Mixer / Colour Matcher to be placed on-site at one of their clients.
• The successful candidate must have a strong eye for colour and the ability to accurately match colours from customer samples. Experience with computer-based paint formulation and mixing systems is essential.
• This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, requiring someone who can work accurately under pressure while maintaining consistent quality, meeting deadlines and ensuring customer requirements are met.
• Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience as a Paint Mixer / Colour Matcher.
• Automotive paint mixing and colour matching experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems, paint binders and light industrial paint systems.
• Experience with computer-based paint formulation and mixing software.
• Excellent colour perception and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately match colours from customer samples.
• Able to handle high-volume paint mixing in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work accurately and consistently under pressure and meet required turnaround times.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Reliable, well organised and maintains good housekeeping and workplace discipline.
