About the Role

• We are seeking a skilled and personable bartender to join our team. In this customer-facing role, you will focus on creating high-quality beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the overall experience at our venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage with customers to provide them with a welcoming experience and assist with their drink selections.
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, handling payments and transactions with attention to detail.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies, including garnishes, beverages, and glassware, and assist with restocking as needed.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner, striving for prompt resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth bar operations.
• Stay informed about current drink trends and new products to provide suggestions to customers and enhance offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, bar operations, and beverage service standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers and build rapport.
• Strong multitasking abilities to manage orders and customer interactions efficiently.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in bartending or completion of a related hospitality program.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash.
• Familiarity with current cocktail trends and beverage innovations.
• Additional language skills that enhance customer service capabilities.
