Boksburg | Homeschool Tutuor | R12500 - R13500 at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Boksburg
• Ages: Boys aged 8 and 11 years old
• Working hours: Monday  09:00 – 16:00, Wednesday  09:00 - 15:00, Thursdays 09:00 - 16:00, Fridays 09:00 - 14:00.
• School Holiday Hours: The same as above
• Duties: General Curriculum Support in all prescribed Subjects, English, Afrikaans, Maths, Physical Science, Possibly help with transport to extramural activities.
• Requirements: Fluent in Afrikaans, tutoring experience, able to assisting with Languages and Maths and Science.She will have to have patience, be disciplined and hard working.  She needs to have her own car and be able to sometimes drive the boys to their extra mural activities after school safely.
• Curriculum: We are doing the Eclectic homeschooling way, which in South Africa involves mixing resources like local providers (Impaq, Footprints on Our Land), international options (Apologia, Math-U-See, Khan Academy, The Good and The Beautiful), and different methods (CAPS, British, Montessori, Classical).   Popular combinations include CAPS-aligned materials with international subjects or blending traditional teaching with hands-on learning. 
• We are registered but doing the Eclectic way.
• Start date: ASAP - Permanent role
• Salary: R12500 - R13500 per month (gross, before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
