    Brand Manager

    About the Job

    Purpose of the Position:

    • Lead and champion the channel and content brands and manage the day to day marketing activities of the channels marketing strategy

    • Develop Content Digital/Social brand strategy and implementation
    • Plan and Implement marketing campaigns for content and champion channel brands

    Brand Management

    • Manage the day-to-day marketing activities
    • Brief, manage and deliver effective TTL
    • Develop, present and report on quarterly marketing plans stakeholders
    • Brief, manage, deliver, and implement positioning strategy and/or repositioning strategies
    • Brief and manage creative agency outputs
    • Utilize consumer touchpoints in relation to Integrated Marketing Communication
    • Ensure alignment between content initiatives and marketing in your channels
    • Continuously monitor and report on the success of the marketing and communication plans (ATL, BTL, monitor progress, compliance, and report on performance
    • Implement social media strategy to ensure targets are met
    • Manage daily delivery of channel and content promos
    • Ensure all promos are rated by Programme Acceptance and processed prior to micro schedule download deadlines
    • Draft barter deals, ensure that barter deals are approved by legal department and barter contract terms are met
    • Content, marketing, and communication plan presentations to various stakeholders as and when required.
    • Manage the marketing budget (forecasting, phasing)
    • Ensure effective management and recon of all barters and sponsorships
    • Regular promo and brand health reporting
    • Ensure brand alignment across all touchpoints
    • Provide creative input on content brand designs and execution
    • Create and deliver promo strategy for all programmes and campaigns
    • Implement on air strategy, cross promotional strategies that contribute to channel objectives
    • Approval, delivery, and distribution of promos internally.
    • Manage effective promo scheduling with the promo schedulers
    • Ensure promo schedules are accurate
    • Ensure all promo are rated by Programme Acceptance and processed prior to micro schedule download deadlines
    • Ensure promo schedules are aligned with BCCSA regulations and guidelines
    • Ensure channel events are implemented in line with channel and brand strategy
    • Identify sponsors that are aligned with brand
    • Report on ROI of all activations
    • Establish and maintain effective relationship with creative agencies and suppliers
    • Manage suppliers
    • Foster and develop strong relationship with production companies and sponsors
    • Regular follow up and feedback with critical business partners

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • A Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Marketing/Branding or equivalent
