Management of revenue-generating publishing product(s) including delivery on all financial and subscription billing targets
Management of ad hoc and / or on-going projects that support the publishing business
Compilation, management of, and responsibility for, full P & L budgets including detailed variance reporting
Strategic financial and marketing planning and implementation
Strategic growth of products in the portfolio and new growth within the division
Management of monthly magazine editorial, advertising and marketing material/visuals/communication from external suppliers
Responsibility and accountability for external partner relationships and the strategic growth of such relationships, and partner contribution to the overall growth of the portfolio
Strong digital, social media and e-commerce marketing knowledge and ability to apply to current and new business models
Negotiation with relevant internal stakeholders at all levels within the organization with regards to strategies and store campaigns
Sales campaign analysis
Administration issues related to the products, which may include insurance compliance and regulations, systems and processes
Setting up and monitoring sales, delivery and activation targets
Regular detailed reporting wrt product performance and sales channels delivery
Full knowledge of and compliance to all relevant legislation (CPA & POPIA)
Qualifications and Experience:
A tertiary qualification in Finance / Business and / or Marketing Management
Ability to effectively apply financial knowledge to ensure growth of the portfolio
Ability to effectively apply marketing knowledge to ensure product and portfolio growth
At least 5 years relevant business, marketing and financial management experience
Knowledge of the publishing industry advantageous but not essential
Knowledge and experience in digital, social media and e-commerce marketing
