    Brand Manager

    This position’s main responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies for the effective advertising, distribution, promotion and merchandising of exciting and leading wine brands.
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Achieve marketing and sales objectives by contributing marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
    • Prepare and complete action plans and implement customer-service standards
    • Project expected sales volume for company-owned wine brands – analyze trends and results establish pricing strategies – recommended selling prices
    • Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising and trade promotion programs and develop field sales action plans in accordance with the above
    • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements
    • Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities
    • Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities
    • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
    • Manage execution of marketing activities both on- and off-trade through analyzing, monitoring and re-strategizing existing activities
    • Develop, execute and manage experiential activity across the various brand's activations platforms
    • Identify trends and opportunities for new products development projects

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 3 year degree/diploma in marketing/brand management.
    • At least 3-5 years’ experience within the wine industry or consumer goods/ lifestyle industry in brand/marketing management, trade marketing and/or sales role
    • Computer literate (SAP, MS Office).
    • Code B drivers’ license and own transport
    • Proficient on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Must have good time management skills and be able to work well under pressure
    • Must be  willing to travel Frequently

    This role is based in Franschoek and would require sometime fairly close by.
