Maintain and troubleshoot all onboard broadcast equipment, including audio and video systems, satellite and cable systems, and internet and network systems
Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Set up and operate equipment for live events and broadcasts, including concerts, shows, and onboard activities
Monitor and adjust broadcast signals to ensure high-quality transmission
Work closely with other crew members to coordinate and execute onboard entertainment and communication events
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment
Stay up-to-date with advancements in broadcast technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements to equipment and systems
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment and systems
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Broadcast Technician or in a similar role
Technical knowledge and experience with audio and video systems, satellite and cable systems, and internet and network systems
Familiarity with live event production and broadcast operations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work and live onboard a cruise ship for extended periods of time
