• OBARO brokers are part of the OBARO group and the successful candidate will the Insurance Manager reports.

Responsibilities:
  To carry out marketing, recruitment and growth of new business, as outlined in the marketing strategy of the OBARO brokers;

•   Maintenance of existing business and establishment of professional relationships with clients;
•   Analysis and evaluation of current insurance and comparison and proposal of alternatives to customer;
•   Implementation of business;
•   Build strong relationship with internal and external customers; and
•   Keep abreast of necessary legislation in the Short Term industry.

Skills, Qualifications and General Requirements:

•   Grade 12 qualification will serve as a requirement, and an appropriate postgraduate qualification will be preferred;
•   Completed NQF 4 Qualification will be preferred;
•   Regulatory Examination Certificates (RE1/5) will be preferred;
•   Computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office package;
•   Maintain excellent customer relationship and strong communication skills;
•   Appropriate experience in crop insurance, as well as asset insurance marketing will be preferred;
•   Solid written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English;
•   Clean credit and criminal record;
•   Must be willing to travel and a car and valid license is a requirement
