Business Analyst at Epiroc

Mission

We are looking to hire a highly driven senior business analyst to assist the company to improve business efficiency. The senior business analyst’s responsibilities involve developing new business strategies and models, communicating to management on how these strategies and models will enhance business efficiency, and creating monthly reports on the performance of the business. You should also be able to utilize the monthly reports to identify business areas in need of improvement.

To be successful as a senior business analyst, you should be able to effectively manage the business analyst team. Ultimately, a top-performing senior business analyst should be able to identify ways in which to improve customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities or Functions

• Identifying and addressing operational, financial, and technological risks within the business.
• Maintaining, testing, and improving business and systems operations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.
• Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.
• Evaluating the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
• Communicating ideas and viewpoints to senior management.
• Acting as a liaison between business and IT groups.
• Supervising the design of new products and evaluating how these will perform on the market.
• Creating monthly performance reports
• Develop real-time KPI dashboards for the Regional Customer Care Team that show current performance against set targets (e.g open order management, OSMI, stock accuracy)
• Measure and report on customer centric KPIs related to order delivery KPIs (e.g lead-time from order entry to entry to invoice)
• Analyze existing backorder data to identify opportunities within the CC that will improve on customer fill rates for strategic customers
• Present findings on backorder analysis to Senior Management and provide recommendations that address areas of improvement
• Drive improvement projects with the CC expediting team that will assist in managing open customer orders and identifying ETA date changes using automation tools and sound data analysis techniques
• Actively participate in strategic projects (e.g., CRM, Shop-Online, B2B projects, data strategy)

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, IT or any related field.
• Proven experience as a business analyst.
• Proven training in Business Process Modeling.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Access is advantageous.
• The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
