    Business Area Administrator - Cradock

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (Agricultural diploma or degree) with 2 years’ experience in an agricultural environment
    • Proven knowledge re livestock will be advantageous
    • Proven knowledge re debtors and creditors will be advantageous
    • Excellent computer literacy in MS office applications
    • Must be fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); must be fully conversant in Afrikaans and English
    • Valid driver’s license

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure accurate administrative processes
    • Handling of auctions & administration duties
    •         Assist with auction clerk responsibilities
    •         Reconcile buyer and seller quantities and correlate to auction roll
    •         Print list of accounts receivable and have it signed by business area manager
    •         Print payment method report and reconcile to cash received
    •         Compare with auction summary and do a reconciliation of the auction
    •         Deposit any cash receipts within 24 business hours
    •         Finalisation of auction to be imported in server and Syspro.
    • Responsible for all Liaison Services
    •        Check liaison service documents for validity
    •        Process liaison services on Flexi
    •       Submit liaison services file for import in Syspro
    •        Handle auction and liaison services enquiries from producers, clients and personnel
    • Financial responsibilities of clients
    • Process the region's transactions received on a daily basis
    • Arrange funds to be able to pay transactions.
    • Send invoices to buyers and sellers
    •  Request and provide payment proofs to sellers upon request
    • Daily report on processed transactions
    •  Handling of transactions must be timely and accurate
