Our Business Development Coordinator will utilise our CRM and reservation system to help drive the execution of World Challenge’s lead generation strategy. The Business Development Coordinator will be expected to generate leads and work to convert those into sales visits/meetings.
What you will be doing:
Book sales appointments and respond to inbound enquiries for World Challenge on the phone and via email. Cold calling makes up a large percentage of the role.
Liaise appropriately with Business Development team to help drive the outcome of a booking form, this may involve booking further meetings with the same or different contacts on behalf of the BD team
Collate data to report weekly on important metrics to ensure visibility on conversion rates, quality of leads and individual performance to better advise lead generation planning and the team’s performance management
Cold call prospect schools
Compile competitor profiles and disseminate intel updates on the main providers which should include detail on pricing, marketing material, product and sales tactics
Compile data sets for prospective client groups as and when required
Ensure the schools database is maintained and work with the Senior Business Development Manager to pro-actively develop customer profiling (segmentation of market)
We are looking for:
We are looking for someone passionate about Education and or Travel
Competence handling inbound /outbound telephone calls with demonstrate initiative and an ability to work independently as well as being part of a team who is prepared to get involved
Excellent listening/communication skills and the ability to bring experiences to life and build trust
Be pro-active, ready to take the initiative and think creatively to tackle challenges and confident to engage with a range of collaborators
IT literate (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word), and good attention to detail
Experience working on CRM systems would be beneficial
