    Business Implementation Specialist - PM

    The role

    • The Implementation Specialist will be the key contact to Investment Management clients in Cape Town and will be responsible for taking an implementation from initial client requirements, to final sign off of the project or project phase.

    What you will be doing

    • Implement and configure Iress solutions according to business requirement specifications.
    • Responsible for project reporting to project stakeholders
    • Engage with internal stakeholders to align delivery requirements and goals
    • Inform and update all stakeholders on progress status of implementations
    • Assist clients to ensure full utilisation and maximum value of Iress products
    • Refine product issues and provides detailed analysis
    • Take ownership of incidents which cannot be solved
    • Log tickets and complete handovers between the Product Team and different stakeholders
    • Conduct a variety of technical tasks including analysis, testing and documentation
    • Conduct product training and Q&A Sessions for stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain hand-over and training documentation

    What you will need

    • IT / engineering degree or equivalent qualification
    • Industry-specific certifications e.g. SAIFM exams, CFP, CFA 1, 2 or 3, CIPM advantageous
    • Minimum 3 years work experience
    • Understanding of financial markets operations
    • Familiarity with the Iress product stack, particularly XPLAN and IPS, advantageous
    • Familiarity with the BDA advantageous
    • Ability to work with data using Excel, SQL or other tools advantageous
    • Ability to write simple programs to integrate with application programming interfaces (APIs)
    • Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to own and drive tasks to completion
