    Business Intelligence Manager

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT or BSc. Agric in Agricultural Economy
    • Minimum of five years working experience
    • Minimum 3 years sales, marketing and/or agronomic experience.
    • Sound background in Market Analysis
    • Strategic Planning and basic financial know how
    • Experience working with data warehouses using SQL with knowledge of Oracle or SAP HANA
    • Technical Skills: HTML5, SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, good Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Power Point/ Word)
    • Experience working with big data technologies, relational databases and cloud environments like AWS, Azure.
    • Good knowledge of agile software development practices
    • Experienced in creating visualization with Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau, R or others.
    • Experienced in profiling, cleaning and transformation of data.
    • Hands-on experience managing data of various sizes and sources using database communication & networking
    • Good project management skills
    • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
    • Flexible and reliable person, takes clear ownership of tasks

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Conduct regular market research/surveys, panels and other BI related activities
    • Generate market analysis (trends, scenarios and risk assessments) and provide reports to cluster BI manager
    • Leverage BI methodologies and tools for generating of market trends, forecasting and planning
    • Ensure maintenance and regular updating of market database. This includes capturing field intelligence such as prices, staff etc.
    • Develop and implement competitor monitoring/analysis within the country.
    • Communicate and create visualization of results
    • Transform market research into meaningful insights to support strategy 
    • Management of the BI team
