Business Sustainability Internship at Forvis Mazars Group

Job Description    

• Forvis Mazars is looking for a passionate and motivated unemployed graduate with a background in sustainable development, social studies, or environmental science to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our comprehensive sustainability solutions and services, which empower our clients to create meaningful value through sustainability-related initiatives.
• As part of our team, you will play a key role in advancing sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) within our organization, while also supporting client projects.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Prepare and manage project plans
• Conduct research on global ESG regulations, standards, and best practices
• Support sustainability deliverables (e.g., carbon footprinting, reporting)
• Compile carbon footprint data for Forvis Mazars Group submissions
• Assist with sustainability strategy, reporting, assurance, and GHG accounting
• Attend client meetings and take minutes when required
• Ensure proper documentation of client deliverables and correspondence
• Support local CSR initiatives and their rollout
• Assist with administrative tasks on client engagements
• Contribute to thought leadership and research on emerging sustainability trends

Minimum Requirements    

Educational / Professional Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary level qualification (e.g., sustainable development, social studies, environmental science)
• Knowledge of the universal frameworks on sustainability and integrated reporting is highly advantageous.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Strong interest in ESG/Sustainability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent research and analytical skills
