    Business Systems Administrator (Operational/POS Systems)

    Minimum Qualification / Experience / Skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
    • South African Citizen.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in system administration and maintenance.
    • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (essential). Regular travel to Afrimat sites will be required.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and administrative skills.
    • Strong problem-solving ability, customer service orientation, and the ability to work well under pressure.
    • Demonstrated track record in a Business Systems support environment.
    • Self-driven, eager to learn, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
    • Strong prioritisation, planning, and organisational skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):

    • Provide support across the following systems: Winbridge, Winbridge POS, BatchCon, PLCs, and MS SQL.
    • Install and configure relevant software applications and hardware.
    • Ensure optimal performance, stability, and availability of supported systems.
    • Perform system implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
    • Manage user access, permissions, and related controls.
    • Implement system workflows and configuration changes timeously to minimise disruptions to business operations.
    • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution when alerted by users or system monitoring tools.
    • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and the roll-out of new developments or enhancements.
    • Provide end-user training and support, including the creation and maintenance of training manuals and documentation.
    • Import and manage data as required.
    • Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned.
