Cash Allocations Clerk at Air Products South Africa

Position Overview:

• Air Products is seeking a detailoriented and highly organized individual to join our Finance team as a Cash Allocations Clerk. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately and efficiently process and allocate incoming cash receipts to customer accounts in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Receive and process daily cash receipts, including checks, credit card payments, and wire transfers
•  Allocate and apply payments to customer accounts in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
•  Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash allocations, working closely with other departments as needed
•  Prepare and process adjustments, refunds, and writeoffs as necessary
•  Reconcile cash receipts with bank statements and other financial records
•  Generate and distribute reports related to cash allocations and collections activities
•  Maintain accurate and uptodate records of customer accounts and payment history
•  Assist with other financerelated tasks and projects as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

•  High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
•  Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fastpaced corporate environment
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
•  Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
•  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
•  Ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadlinedriven environment
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•  Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
