Key performance areas

• Deliver engaging and innovative CAT lessons across the High School grades.
• Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes active, engaged learning.
• Set, mark, and moderate assessments in line with IEB standards.
• Ensure lesson planning is completed consistently and collaboratively with colleagues.
• Produce high‑quality resources and teaching materials for students.
• Teach extra lessons when required to support learners.
• Participate fully in the High School’s extramural programme.
• Attend school functions and special occasions as directed by the Head.
• Respond to emails and telephone messages within 24 hours.
• Uphold professional standards of punctuality, behaviour, and work ethic.
• Undertake any additional reasonable tasks as determined by the Head of School.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• SACE registered.
• Appropriately qualified CAT teacher.
• Minimum of 3 years’ IEB teaching experience (advantageous).
• IEB matric marking experience (advantageous).
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Energetic, creative, self‑motivated, and innovative.
• Thorough understanding of appropriate assessment standards.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and openness to new teaching methods.
